Our Story

It started with an evening that looked like every other evening.

Work ended somewhere around eight. The apartment was quiet in the particular way a small space gets quiet - not peaceful, just empty of anything happening. There was a long stretch of nothing between the day being over and sleep actually arriving, and nothing in it. No ritual, no marker, no moment that said this part is yours.

That gap is where slowwy came from.

We didn't want to build another brand that told people to slow down. Everyone says that now, and it means less each time. What we wanted was something smaller and more useful - objects that did one sensory job so well that the gap filled itself. Something to light. Something to notice. A few minutes that belonged to nobody but you.

We're based in Singapore, building this slowly and mostly by hand. The collection is small on purpose. We'd rather make one thing properly than five things adequately, and we'd rather you own something you actually reach for than something that sits in a drawer.

There isn't much more to the story than that, honestly. A long day, a quiet room, a decision to make something for the in-between hour instead of ignoring it.

We're still figuring parts of this out. We're doing it slowly, which feels like the only honest way to do it.
